HP Series: Pneumatic Actuators
Rack and Pinion
The V-Flow HP series of rack and pinion pneumatic actuators are specifically designed to provide a wide range of torque outputs to suit quarter turn ball, butterfly, plug valves and dampers for a complete valve automated solution.
Manufactured to high standards using extruded aluminium bodies with a hard anodised coating, the HP series provide a reliable service at competitive prices.
The HP series of Pneumatic Actuators are available in Double Acting (e.g. HP50) and Spring Return (e.g. HP50S) configurations.

HP series Actuators feature a VDI-VDE 3845 interface enabling the use of a Namur Solenoid Valve.
For potentially explosive environments, an ATEX explosion proof or intrinsically safe Solenoid Valve can be provided.

For open and closed position feedback, a switch box can be fitted to the VDI/VDE 3845 interface on top of the unit.
A range of switch boxes can be provided from options with 2x SPDT Switches or Wire Proximity Sensors to IP68 and ATEX explosion proof switch boxes.

Accurate valve position using the HP series Pneumatic Actuators can be achieved using Pneumatic or Electro-Pneumatic positioners which can be fitted to the VDI/VDE 3845 NAMUR interface on the top of the unit.
The positioning system features an IP66 Die Cast Aluminium Alloy enclosure with a corrosion resistant coating and options for ATEX Eexd or Eexia housings.
There are options for a low-profile visual indicator or a dome beacon indicator.
The positioners have a standard ambient temperature of -20°C to +70°C with option of up to +120°C.
Electro-Pneumatic positioners have options for 2x SPDT limit switches and 4-20mA Position Transmitter (output signal).
